At my highest weight I weighed 240 lbs. At my lowest weight I weighed nearly 130lbs. I lost 100 lbs in a year, but it hasn’t been so easy to keep off. I have been struggling to get back out of the 150s for the last year and every time I get close I muck it up somehow. My weight is a constant battle and it’s seemingly always changing. Up. Down. Left. Right. You name it, my body has been there.

That being said, as much as I groan about not being back at my lowest body weight, look how far I’ve freaking come! Sometimes you need to take a step back and realize your progress on a bigger scale rather that focus on the tiny details. Monet was on to something.

Three things about this picture:

1. Quite possibly the most awkward positioned photo I’ve ever tried to take in my life.

2. See my shirt? It’s freaking awesome. Its a child’s large shirt that I got it in Guatemala so good luck trying to find this bad boy.

3. Battle wounds from insanity. My elbows were sacrificed in high plank to low plank because I lack upper body strength. So I pretty much rug burned the shit out of them just to get up.
